Salt-free Screened Sand Concrete

The aggregate in Nikkei ready-mixed concrete comes from stone extracted by Toyo Saiseki from a single quarry.

With the fake earthquake-proofing scandal and the possibility of a Nankai-area earthquake, people are becoming concerned about how safe buildings are, and some tiny grains – of sand – have come under suspicion! Because the salt content of sand gradually weakens concrete, we do not use sea sand as aggregate. Our ready-mixed concrete contains 100% salt-free screened sand manufactured by Toyo Saiseki. Peace of mind in the future depends on how carefully we choose grains of sand in the present.

Ehime Prefecture’s First Ministry-Authorized Factory

Under the Building Standards Act, concrete with a compressive strength exceeding 36 N/mm2 must be authorized as a building material by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Recently, we became the first ready-mixed concrete plant in the prefecture to receive its own ministerial authorization. To obtain its own authorization, a high-strength concrete plant’s production and quality management must be evaluated by a neutral third-party organization. With every stage – from the production of a grain of aggregate to the manufacture, delivery and pouring of concrete – handled within our group, we ensure a consistently high level of quality. Our goal is continued growth to help our regions prosper.
